The Washington Symphony depends on the support of individuals like you, who provide more than half our annual fundraising revenue. You help make it possible for a six-year-old to hear the sound of an oboe for the first time. Contributions from our symphony supporters enable the orchestra to perform free concerts for children in underserved areas who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the magnificence of symphonic music, also making it possible to nurture all children through our outstanding educational programs and school partnerships, in addition the free concerts in the parks for our local but diverse community, and the creative and innovative concert programming in conjunction with embassies from around the world. Of course, we must not forget the thousands of people that get to enjoy the orchestras' regular concert season year after year. It is so easy to join the WSO family by becoming a member, an Encore member, the Presidents Club or the Patrons Circle.
