The Washington Symphony Orchestra is rich in history tradition. The WSO is considered a unique musical treasure in Washington D.C. and around the world. Known for it's creative and innovative programming with many performances each year including international events that celebrate multi cultural experiences.

With an internationally renowned conductor and over 100 talented musicians the symphony looks forward to it's 69 th year of performing. Since those first concerts in the 1930's the WSO has played a defining role in the Washington area and American cultural life. Today, the WSO is moving forward and discovering a new era that is defining the orchestra for future generations.
